Meet Neuf!

Personality: Neuf is a sweet, loving, brave, and tenacious pup! With a fantastic personality, he’s adaptable to any situation—soft, tender, playful, and full of energy. He loves running around, being silly, and going on walks (with the muscles to show for it!). He’s also quick to learn and motivated by people, making him an all-around perfect pup.

History: Neuf has overcome incredible odds. Like many dogs in Puerto Rico, he was abandoned, but even more tragically, he was left in the middle of a highway and hit by a car. Amazingly, he escaped without fractures. Rescued and brought back from the brink of death, Neuf is now fully vetted and thriving. He made his way to Colorado, where dogs are cherished as family, and he’s ready to find a forever home where he can continue to thrive.

Behaviors: Neuf, whose name means “nine” in French (because he was the 9th pup rescued that day), is potty and house-trained but will need time to adjust to a new environment. He’s crate-trained and knows basic commands like sit, stay, and come. Neuf has even been socialized to get along with cats, and his small size makes cats think he’s one of their own—they even enjoy wrestling with him! Neuf has relearned to trust humans and now loves everyone he meets, making him a joy to be around.
