Personality:
Xena is an incredibly sweet and affectionate pup! She has a wonderful disposition—gentle, playful, and adaptable to any situation. She absolutely loves to play and is a quick learner, especially when food is involved. This adorable girl is full of love and ready to become someone's loyal companion.

History:
Xena was found abandoned in a heartbreaking place known as "the heap of death." She had no idea of the danger around her as she slept innocently. Thankfully, a kind-hearted woman saw her and knew she deserved a second chance at life. She rescued Xena, ensuring she was fully vetted, vaccinated, and spayed. Ever since, this dedicated rescuer has been working tirelessly to find loving homes for displaced dogs like Xena.

There are nearly half a million abandoned and mistreated dogs in Puerto Rico, and rescuers struggle to keep up. But with your help, we can give Xena the loving forever home she deserves. Plus, when you adopt one of these incredible dogs, you’ll receive a pre-trained pup, and we’ll continue to support you at no charge!

Behavior & Training:
Xena is potty and house-trained (though she will need time to adjust to her new environment). She is also crate-trained and knows basic commands like sit, stay, and come. She gets along well with other dogs, though supervision is always recommended when introducing new friends. Most importantly, Xena has learned to trust humans again—she adores children and is a true gentle soul.
